1. What We Collect

We collect the information you provide and the minimum needed to run the app:

• Your name, email address, and profile data (bio, photo, avatar colour)
• Your location, only if you grant permission (optional)
• Your device push notification token
• Content you create, such as posts, comments, stories, and messages

2. Age Eligibility

ONYA is for users 18 and older. Before you can create an account, we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older. We deliberately do not ask for or store your date of birth — we retain only the fact that you confirmed your eligibility. If you tell us you are under 18, we do not create an account, and no profile or questionnaire data is collected or stored for you.

3. How We Use It

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the app
• Show you nearby events and activities
• Send you notifications you have opted into
• Improve and maintain the service

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers who help us run ONYA: Supabase, our infrastructure provider, to store and serve your account and content; and Resend, our email provider, solely to deliver account verification and password-reset emails. No other third parties receive your personal information.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained only while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is deleted. Email verification codes are automatically deleted once used or after they expire (10 minutes).

6. Your Rights

You can access, edit, or delete your data at any time from within the app. You may withdraw consent at any time, including revoking location, camera, and photo permissions in your device settings.

7. Cookies

ONYA does not use tracking cookies. We use on-device local storage only, to store your preferences and app data locally.
